- Perform project and on-site engineering services including programming, start-up, training, modifications, and troubleshooting.
- Manage multiple projects, including managing teams consisting of team members, contractors, and customer personnel.
- Generate quotations, specifications, project plans, and execute and manage projects.
- Allocate and manage resources, specify and procure materials, schedule and execute projects.
- Provide independent factory and field troubleshooting and training for control panels.
- Achieve familiarity and working knowledge to support all control panel products.
- Provide secondary technical support to customers, field engineers, and sales channels.
- Offer instrument and system-level software and communications support to customers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot customer applications remotely or on-site.
- Provide escalation support from Technical Support personnel.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with industrial control in support roles.
- Knowledge and use of AutoCAD.
- Trained in mechanical engineering and basics of electronics and control theory.
- Working knowledge of UL508A and NEC electrical standards.
- Knowledge of hazardous area requirements.
- Experience in control panel design and integration or similar standards.
You will be part of a team engineering systems using a range of products in industries such as Heat Treat, Life Science, Food & Beverage, Plastics, and Water. This role involves complete mechanical and electrical design of control panels and close collaboration with global clientele. The work schedule includes 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
