Senior Project Engineer

Overview The Senior Project Engineer leads complex engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring technical deliverables meet schedule, budget, and performance goals. This role serves as the technical lead, responsible for ensuring designs meet customer specifications while balancing cost and timeline constraints. The Senior Project Engineer collaborates across manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and customer teams, and plays a key role in proposal development and project planning. This position also includes mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts for complex projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
• Ensure design compliance with customer and project requirements
• Review specifications and guide the team in developing cost-effective, compliant designs
• Provide input on budget, cost, and schedule for design assignments
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers
• Contribute to the development of complex proposals
• Coordinate with technical management, engineers, technicians, and support staff
• Lead assigned project teams and manage technical progress
• Support and promote the organization's mission, values, and culture
• Participate in engineering, customer, and business meetings
• Mentor and coach junior engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience
• Demonstrated mastery of relevant technologies and domain expertise
• Experience across multiple engineering disciplines
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams independently
• U.S. Citizenship required
