Mechanical Engineer - Static Site Location: Southampton Salary: Up to 45,000 per annum We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team at a static site in Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to work on facilities maintenance for a key client, ensuring all mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and plant. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults to minimise downtime. Support the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating maintenance schedules. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Work alongside a team of electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless site operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on performance.Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in facilities or plant maintenance. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, HVAC, hydraulics, and related equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
