An Engineering Technician is needed for a leading global engineering, consulting, and construction company in the Atlanta, GA area. This role involves creating and modifying site drainage, grading, and utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D and Microstation, while ensuring all project deliverables meet engineering standards and quality requirements. Candidates must be located within 50 miles of one of the following offices: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Jacksonville, FL; Orlando, FL; Cary, NC; or Tampa, FL. location: Atlanta, Georgia job type: Contract salary: $35.00 - 42.32 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Standards & Quality: Implement and understand engineering standards, document control, and company policies.Ensure deliverables are accurate and compliant with quality programs, codes, and project standards.Review design inputs for consistency and support continuous improvement efforts. Engineering Production: Develop deliverables from various design inputs.Perform basic calculations, such as material quantity estimates and dimensional checks.Continuously evaluate and improve methods and processes. Project Coordination: Coordinate deliverables with other project teams to avoid errors.Support field activities and project finalization, including creating as-built drawings. Client Focus: Address the needs of internal clients and understand the interests of external clients.
