Title : Electrical Engineer

Location: Phoenix AZ - On-site Salary Range: $35 to $40/hr -Competitive and commensurate with experience Introduction

Join a dynamic team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex systems for Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) gas turbine engines. Your role will be pivotal in creating system solutions that directly address the evolving needs of our customers. You will have ownership of systems and components throughout the entire lifecycle, from business development through to the product's end of life. Collaborate across disciplines within the APU Control Systems department to drive growth and reach critical milestones.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for the company on a W2 basis.
  • Experience in developing Circuit Card Assemblies and Printed Circuit Boards.
  • Proficiency in circuit analysis and modeling.
  • Ability to write substantiation/justification for change documents for electronic components.
  • Experience with electronic testing.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in product development, systems integration, and production/factory support for aerospace products.
  • Knowledge of electronic control units, electronic subassemblies, sensors, effectors, and control system components used in safety-critical systems.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as DO-254 and nuclear hardening design assurance for Electronic Control Units.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Resolve production support cases and release associated Engineering Change Notices.
  • Provide technical substantiation of design changes related to production and factory support.
  • Guide engineers and partner with project engineers to distribute workload for production support cases.
  • Collaborate with other engineering support teams, including component engineering, materials, mechanical, certification, test services, configuration management, and data management.
  • Ensure supplier drawings and/or parts are compliant with drawing and governing requirements.
  • Reconcile product requirements with system-level or customer requirements.
  • Coordinate supplier, customer, and project engineering communication concerning product development and production support.
  • Participate in planning & scheduling, integrating supplier schedules into program schedules, and establishing program milestones.
