Co-Op Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Co-Op to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design and engineering within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the mechanical design, detailing, and documentation of automated welding machines and fixtures.
• Utilize 3D CAD software to create and modify designs.
• Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure design accuracy and project completion.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Support the manufacturing and assembly processes as needed.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Junior or Senior standing preferred).
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
