Infrastructure Engineer Sr

Our client, a leader in the utility industry, is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of the IT Operations supporting various technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Remote only from one of the following states: Ohio, Texas, Kentucky, West Virginia, Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma.

What's the Job?

• Work with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Manage Azure cloud environments, including monitoring, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Administer Linux servers and containers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

• At least 5 years of IT Systems Administration experience supporting Middleware/OS technologies.
• 3 years of experience with Linux and Windows operating systems in both physical and virtualized environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of application deployment and incident resolution processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.
