Construction Project Engineer / Project Manager

Summary

Our Project Engineer/Manager position would work directly with existing Project Managers and Company Ownership to help manage all aspects of the construction projects. 

We are currently looking for one qualified PE or PM to join our team.

Responsibilities: 

• Project Engineer:
  • Coordinate all submittal packages with the design team
  • Handle material take offs and ordering
  • Handle documentation and reporting for each project
  • Review plans and develop project submittal packages
  • Coordinate all aspects of project submittals through approval stages
  • Direct communication with owners, construction managers, subcontractors,
  •  
• Project Manager:
  • Oversee construction teams and supervise construction of large commercial projects from $1 million to $7 million dollars
  • Conduct field inspections
  • Compile and prepare all project turnover documentation
  • Handle direct communication with owners, construction managers, subcontractors, etc.
  • Develop and handle all scheduling, subcontractor coordination and purchasing coordination
  • Review plans and develop project submittal packages
  • Coordinate all aspects of project submittals through approval stages

Qualifications

• Previous commercial construction experience required
• Previous pool construction experience preferred, not required.
• Must have strong communication and coordination skills
• Layout and Site Work knowledge: layout of work and oversight of excavation backfill and various site work activities
• Structural Concrete knowledge: Forming, Rebar, Pouring of Concrete (Note that MLCP will subcontract Shotcrete and large concrete pours)
• PVC Plumbing knowledge: PVC sch 40 and 80 plumbing up to 14” diameter

Location

• Project Engineer: 100% in office 
• Project Manager: 85% in office, 15% travel
