iHire Product Update – June 2025

Wondering what’s new at iHire in June 2025? As we kick off the summer months, we’ve introduced several enhancements to the employer user experience, simplified the job reposting flow, and launched a more compelling job alert email for candidates. Here’s an overview of the latest iHire product news:

Refreshed Hiring Manager Experience With AI Candidate Summaries

iHire new hiring manager interface

We’ve updated the hiring manager experience with a few design tweaks, including a new notification banner alerting them of new applicants pending their approval. Most notably, hiring managers will now see an AI-generated application summary for each candidate, allowing them to quickly assess an applicant’s fit. They can also view more details about a candidate’s missing and matching skills right from the user interface, empowering them to make faster, more informed hiring decisions.

Employer Navigation Enhancements

When signed in to their account, employers will notice small but impactful changes to the navigation patterns. Enhancements include updated icons for better contrast and clarity, improved accessibility through dropdowns triggered by clicking versus hovering, and better discoverability – navigation items that have “children” now use a standard pattern, such as a small carrot icon, to visually indicate additional options.

Job Reposting Flow Update

Reposting closed job ads just got easier. Simply select “Repost” next to the appropriate job on the “Manage Jobs” page. Employers will instantly see a modal that offers the ability to quickly edit details about the job before completing the final steps to repost it.

Richer Emails Notifying Candidates of Newly Posted Jobs

iHire New Job Alert Email

Emails notifying candidates when new matching jobs are posted now include more information pulled directly from the job description, “Quick Apply” buttons, and additional details about the role such as salary and employment type. These changes improve the candidate experience, making it easier for job seekers to determine their interest in a position and apply faster. The result? More qualified applicants for employers.

Additional notable iHire platform updates in June 2025 include:

  • Streamlined Candidate Tags: When filtering candidates in iHire’s ATS, users will no longer see duplicates of their custom-created tags, and all tags are alphabetized for easier access.
  • Traffic Max Icon Visibility: Users with iHire360 Premium Job Slots will now be able to see the Traffic Max “star” icon next to their jobs and verify that their open roles are receiving additional exposure to qualified candidates.
  • Resume Search Relocation Differentiations: Resume Search now visually differentiates between candidates willing to relocate with an airplane icon and those looking for jobs in a specific area with a magnifying glass icon.
