Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Location: Chandler, AZ.

Estimator (experience in Semiconductor, Data Center and or Industrial Electrical is required)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. Our client is open to a Jr Estimator or a Sr Estimator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction estimating and management, with the ability to analyze project specifications and prepare accurate cost estimates. This role is essential for ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, while also maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid and NEC for accurate pricing and estimation.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for bids.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for accurate estimating.
• Prepare detailed reports outlining the estimated costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.
• Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating or related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction management principles and practices.
• Proficient in using estimating software such as HeavyBid or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of cost control measures in construction projects.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all estimates provided.
