Job Summary
The ITAM Project Manager (PM) will manage ITAM projects to ensure that they meet the agreed scope, time and budget through project management disciplines including but not limited to planning, organizing, communicating, leading and controlling. Continuous monitoring will be required to ensure that deliverables are performed on time, every time to meet customer expectations and meet or exceed the SHI quality standards.
The PM's role aims to simplify complex ITAM engagements by planning, scheduling, communicating and documenting all aspects of the project, while working closely with all internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations, scope and direction of each engagement. The position reports to the ITAM Project Delivery Team Manager.
Role Description
Manage complex ITAM projects
Manage complex multi-function and/ or global delivery relationships with senior and executive ("C" level) customer management
Mentor the project team, providing support for individual professional development
Understand the customer objectives, compose tasks, and monitor the overall health of each engagement they participate in
Document and standardize any new ITAM service methodologies and requirements as the department extends its service offerings
Train and mentor ITAM Administrators and Project Delivery Specialists to support with Project Delivery-related activities
Communicate engagement status to all internal SHI stakeholders, including: ITAM Management, ITAM delivery teams, ITAM Solutions Consultants, Account Executives
Interface with selected ITAM Partners to promote and support joint ITAM services and initiatives
Lead project engagements to achieve the scope as described in Statements of Work.
Conduct project kick-offs and create project schedules to ensure timely and budgeted execution.
Assemble and coordinate the project team, establishing roles and responsibilities.
Communicate customer status updates, including action items, issues, risks, and develop mitigation plans.
Execute change requests to project scope, schedule, and/or cost as needed.
Act as the single point of contact for any issues or escalations throughout the project.
Conduct project close activities to confirm deliverables were achieved.
Organize and facilitate project and scrum events.
Coach and mentor all parties on their roles and responsibilities related to a project.
Manage and ensure accuracy for projects using project management tools such as Jira, DevOps, and MS Project.

Expertise in various project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum, to effectively plan, execute, and close projects - Intermediate
Proficiency in facilitating Agile Scrum practices, guiding teams through the Scrum framework to ensure efficient and successful project delivery - Intermediate
Competence in utilizing tools like Jira, Trello, MS Project, or DevOps to plan, track, and manage project progress and resources - Intermediate
Familiarity with the operational mechanisms, hierarchical setup, and the overall framework of SHI, enabling effective navigation and utilization of internal processes - Intermediate
Other Requirements
Completed Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required
3 years of experience within IT service delivery and/or project management.
Experience with software licensing, general IT infrastructure, and ITAM best practices
PMP Certification or obtain within the first 6 months of employment at SHI
Ability to travel 10%
The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $120,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
