The Senior Installation Project Manager for rotary equipment, you will lead and oversee the installation, commissioning, and warranty of turbomachinery equipment at NAM customer sites. This role requires an understanding of mechanical and electrical systems associated with turbomachinery, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead a team of skilled technicians and engineers. Emphasis will be placed on driving quality, ensuring safety, and promoting customer satisfaction.

As a Sr Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, coordinate, and execute the installation of rotary equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Indirectly leading a team of installation technicians and engineers, fostering a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Providing technical support during the installation process, troubleshooting any issues that arise to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for customers during the installation phase, addressing any concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Promote Baker Hughes commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ensuring all installation activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety training sessions.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, including progress reports, installation records, and as-built drawings.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance installation efficiency and quality.
  • Communicating project status, key milestones, and any critical issues to high management, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor degree in engineering, Master degree preferred
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in project management in the installation and commissioning of rotary equipment
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
  • Be able to travel up to 50% as needed to customer sites which may include offshore locations
