ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Senior Nuclear Project Manager position is responsible for independently managing high-value, complex, and multidiscipline projects and programs. This role requires strong leadership to guide large project teams, establish priorities, and oversee all aspects of project execution including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of industry trends and technologies, demonstrate excellence in project management, and provide mentorship to other project managers while driving continuous improvement in project delivery. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Pay rate: $58.90 - $102.38 Benefits: Sick Leave: One hour of paid sick leave for every 40-hours worked (sick leave can be used after 90-days of employment) EAP: Employee Assistance Program Benefit options: Medical, HSA, Group Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Accident, 401k (eligible after one year and 1,000 hours worked - employer match up to 4%) Other benefits include the following: Calm App, Access Perks Responsibilities: Manage project activities for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line work, ensuring safe, high-quality, on-schedule, and within-budget execution Oversee all aspects of project implementation including budget development, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, industrial and nuclear safety, clearance order preparation, work prioritization, resource loading, and risk management Resolve schedule delays and conflicts to maintain project momentum Interface regularly with clients, engineers, vendors, and management to ensure alignment and progress Develop and manage contracts and vendor relationships Create and maintain project schedules that support risk management, progress tracking, accountability, and critical path control Mentor and support less experienced project managers Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various stakeholders, including senior leadership Develop and maintain long-range strategic plans for assigned projects Support the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program Provide support for outage operations, including participation in the Outage Control Center (OCC) Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from an accredited college or university and 20 years of experience in a technical field; OR an AA/AS degree and 22 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma or GED and 24 years of experience An advanced degree in a related field may substitute for two years of experience RO/SRO License or CGS Management Certification required Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required Experience managing complex, multidiscipline projects in a commercial nuclear environment Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management Familiarity with ALARA planning, nuclear safety, and outage coordination Proficiency in project management and budget tracking software Ability to lead expert panel interviews and apply human performance improvement methods Skilled in MS Office and enterprise systems such as Passport Desired advanced degree in a related field Construction Management Certification Preferred experience in nuclear plant operations, maintenance, or engineering Participation in industry committees or external audits Demonstrated success in diverse assignments that broaden technical or leadership capabilities Work sponsorship is not available at this time.
