Transportation Engineer Intern

The Town of Erie is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented undergraduate or graduate-level Transportation Engineering Intern to join the Transportation & Mobility Division within the Public Works Department. This part-time, paid internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in transportation engineering while working under the guidance of experienced transportation staff.

The intern will support various projects, including data collection and analysis, development review, signal timing review, pavement maintenance cycle analysis, pavement marking design, and other engineering-related tasks.

The internship is expected to run from September to December 2025, with the potential for extension based on department needs. A minimum commitment of 20 hours per week is required.
