Hardware Design Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Design Engineer with expertise in PCB design and high-speed digital circuits. The role involves FPGA SoC hardware integration, hardware validation, and debugging, as well as familiarity with manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop PCB layouts for high-speed digital circuits.
  • Integrate and validate FPGA SoC hardware.
  • Debug hardware issues effectively.
  • Implement manufacturing processes and DFM principles.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in PCB design and high-speed digital circuits.
  • Experience in FPGA SoC hardware integration, validation, and debugging.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and DFM principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Active US Government Security Clearance of Secret or above.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with AMD/Intel FPGA SoC platforms.
  • Expertise in signal integrity and power integrity analysis.
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools like Allegro or Altium.
  • Experience with high-volume manufacturing and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
  • Understanding of industry standards such as PCIe, DDR, SERDES.
Work Environment

This position supports an NSA project in collaboration with Amazon, based in Alexandria, VA. Candidates are required to work fully on-site. The company offers comprehensive health and medical benefits, a strong 401k match, unlimited paid time off, and annual bonuses.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
