You will be the Senior Reliability Engineer for the PAC-3 Launcher Sustainment Reliability Team. Our team safeguards product performance by identifying hidden failure risks, providing actionable metrics/corrective actions to program stakeholders, and delivering data driven mitigation strategies that keep our systems on track from concept through field service.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for leading the FRACAS process and trending development, as well as data analysis to provide program stakeholders with actionable metrics to improve overall launcher performance. You will work hand in hand with design/quality/chief engineers, and program managers to surface risks early, quantify them accurately, and drive corrective actions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Identify failure modes, root causes, and their effects on overall system performance.
Assign criticality rankings, document mitigation strategies, and track them through each development phase.
Update, analyze and trend all FRACAS data in Windchill.
Automate available test data analysis tools and provide metrics to program stakeholders in a Corrective Action Board (CAB).
Analyze test data, generate reliability growth curves, and report findings to cross functional stakeholders.
Recommend design or material changes to improve reliability and reduce lifecycle cost.
Mentor junior reliability engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the reliability organization. Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field
35years of hands on reliability engineering experience, with demonstrated expertise in FRACAS and trend analysis.
Strong root cause analysis, risk assessment, and data interpretation capabilities; comfortable working with large data sets and generating actionable insights.
Proficiency with reliability analysis standards (such as MIL STD 1629A, IEC60812, etc.).
Strong knowledge of failure physics, degradation mechanisms, and material behavior under stress.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent analyses and test programs, meet deadlines, and maintain documentation control.
