You will be the Aeronautical Engineer Senior Staff for the Landing Gear Systems team which is responsible for delivering highperformance landinggear solutions for F35, IFG, Advanced Design, and Arresting Gear programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Aeronautical Engineer Senior Staff you will be responsible for providing expert engineering support across design, manufacturing, sustainment, and affordability initiatives for critical landinggear systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design, analyze, and support manufacturing of landinggear components for F35, IFG, Advanced Design, and Arresting Gear systems.
- Coordinate technical integration with landinggear vendors and align efforts with the Program Office.
- Lead sustainment activities by evaluating field component issues, conducting rootcause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage Class I and II change processes to ensure design modifications meet safety and performance requirements.
- Drive affordability initiatives by identifying costsaving opportunities and supporting tradeoff studies.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth. Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related field.Experience with CATIA.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.Highly motivated individual with the ability to learn continuously and the ability to identify multiple avenues to successfully reach team goals.
Candidate must work well individually and with team members across multiple organizations.
Strong mechanical ability with desire to build root cause investigation skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to develop clear technical presentations for customers and suppliers.
