A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm is seeking a Project Manager (Transportation) based in New Jersey . Responsibilities Manage transportation and bridge projects from concept development through final design and construction support Lead multidisciplinary teams including bridge, roadway, traffic, geotechnical, and environmental staff Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong client relationships Oversee development of plans, specifications, estimates, and technical documentation Coordinate with internal engineering teams to deliver integrated project solutions Ensure compliance with AASHTO, NJDOT, and local agency standards and guidelines Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, and QA/QC processes Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers Support proposal development, client presentations, and business development initiatives Conduct site visits, inspections, and structural assessments as needed Requirements Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant degree Professional Engineer (PE) license required; New Jersey PE preferred 8+ years of experience in transportation and/or bridge engineering projects Strong understanding of AASHTO and NJDOT design standards Experience managing public-sector transportation projects Familiarity with bridge design software such as LEAP Bridge, LARSA, MIDAS, CSiBridge, STAAD, or similar preferred Proven project management and client management skills Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities What s Offered Competitive compensation and annual bonus opportunities.
