Introduction: This document outlines the roles and responsibilities of an Assistant Project Manager at Western States Reclamation. The purpose of this document is to define job duties and responsibilities, as well as any specific skills or qualifications required to perform the job eectively. Job Descr i ption: Continue in purchasing role for WSR and support project managers with the communication, execution, and tracking of projects. These core responsibilities shall be achieved by working directly with the WSR project managers. Understanding the following aspects of a project will be necessary to fulfill your responsibilities and future development within the company properly. Site Inspection Documentation Safety Project Planning/Scheduling Budget and Cost Management Resource Management Quality Control Risk Management Communication & Coordination Compliance and Regulations Project Closeout Leadership Continual Improvement Software & Trainin g: Understanding the following software is required to eectively perform the job duties of a Project Engineer. B2W - Project Tracking & Reporting Web Ticket Entry (WTE) - Locate/811 Management Whip-Around - Equipment/Vehicle Inspection RAMP - AP/PO Support Microsoft Project (Project Specific) - Project Scheduling Microsoft Oce (w/Teams) - File Sharing/Reporting PDF software - Adobe/Bluebeam Note: Not all the Software listed above will need to be installed or utilized by all Assistant Project Managers. However, an understanding of the programs will be needed to support the project team. Key Performance Indicators ( KPIs ) : Assistant Project Manager is an evolving role within the organization. We will continue to define and refine the key impacts the role has on a project and the organization. This section will list specific metrics/goals to be met but will not negate any individual goals set during employee review meetings. Project Budget adherence: 95% Management and tracking of locates: 95% Project Time & Quantity tracking: 95% Saftey incidents: 0 Reporting Structure: Assistant Project Manager position is a project based role where direct supervision and reporting will fall under the Project Manager of assigned projects.
