Advantage Technical is hiring a Mechatronics Engineer / Mechanical Engineer to develop next-generation motion control systems. If you enjoy hands-on engineering, building real products, and solving complex electro-mechanical challenges-this is your opportunity to make an impact.

What You'll Do

Design and develop electro-mechanical systems including actuators, motors, gears, sensors, and controllers
Create detailed SolidWorks CAD models and drawings, including GD&T and manufacturing documentation
Test, troubleshoot, and validate system performance using amplifiers, controllers, and lab equipment
Develop test procedures, assembly instructions, and technical reports
Partner with manufacturing and purchasing to source components and build BOMs in ERP systems
Support product development from concept through production for complex assemblies
Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage multiple engineering projects while collaborating across teams
What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
4-8 years of experience in electro-mechanical product design and development
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (certification a plus) and GD&T
Experience integrating mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters)
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with servo drives, robotics, or automation systems is a plus
Knowledge of EtherCAT, CANopen, Python, LabVIEW, or PCB design is a plus
