Senior Technical Designer

Location: Onsite in Roslyn (hybrid potential) Senior Technical Designer We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Designer to join a fast-paced fashion team supporting a wide range of product categories. This person will play a critical role in translating creative concepts into technically sound, production-ready garments, ensuring fit, construction, quality, and consistency across the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed technical packages, including construction details, garment specifications, grading, and measurement charts. Partner closely with design, production, and product development teams to ensure design intent is executed accurately. Evaluate samples for fit, workmanship, and overall construction, and provide clear, actionable comments to vendors. Lead fit sessions and communicate revisions to achieve proper fit and silhouette across categories. Troubleshoot technical and construction issues throughout development and production. Ensure consistency in fit, quality, and brand standards across all products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development calendars and meet key deadlines. Use Adobe Illustrator and other Creative Suite tools to create and update technical flats and related documentation. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in technical design within the fashion or apparel industry. Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, patternmaking, grading, and manufacturing processes. Experience working across multiple product categories. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite , including Photoshop. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information to internal teams and external partners.
