Senior Technical Designer

Highly Experienced SR Technical Designer in fit, specs and construction. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Designer to join our Women's Missy Ready-to-Wear team. This role requires deep technical knowledge across all RTW categories and the ability to drive fit, construction, and quality from development through production. The ideal candidate is confident, detail-driven, and solutions-oriented, with strong ownership of the fit process and a proven ability to communicate clearly with vendors and cross-functional partners. Key Responsibilities Own the technical design process for Women's Missy RTW across categories (knits, wovens, dresses, tops, sweaters, bottoms, outerwear, etc.) Lead fittings and ense consistent fit, balance, and proportion aligned with brand standards. Create and maintain accurate tech packs, measurement specs, grading, and construction details. Review patterns, samples, and pre-production approvals for fit and quality. Partner closely with Design, Product Development, and Sourcing to ensure product integrity and on-time execution. Provide clear, detailed fit comments and communicate revisions effectively to factories and vendors. Ensure garments meet quality, construction, and performance standards while maintaining cost and margin targets. Support production troubleshooting and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently. Qualifications Extensive experience as a Technical Designer in Women's Missy RTW (all categories) Strong knowledge of garment construction, patterning, grading, and fit standards Ability to lead fittings with confidence and precision Excellent communication skills with internal teams and overseas vendors/factories Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through Strong knowledge in Excel and Centric PLM What We're Looking For A true technical expert who can independently own fit and construction decisions.
