Assistant Civil Designer

Assistant Civil Designer Location: Greenville, South Carolina (On-site) Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in supporting civil engineering projects from concept through construction documentation. Our team values collaboration and technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of diverse civil design assignments across a variety of project types and clients. Responsibilities: Assist with planning, site evaluations, proposal preparation, and the development of construction documentation and environmental plans as part of a project team. Develop detailed Revit structural models and construction drawing sets, including plans, sections, and details, while interpreting sketches, markups, and design calculations provided by engineers. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to identify and resolve BIM model conflicts and support compliance with company and industry standards. Organize and maintain revisions of project drawings, plot files, and project-related documents in a logical and well-structured manner. Required: Bachelor's degree in drafting technology or related field and 2 years of related experience, or Associate degree and 3 years of related experience, or 4 years progressive detailing and design experience. Basic understanding of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Excel to develop design deliverables. Fundamental knowledge of civil design, calculations, and design systems, as well as technical familiarity with structural components and construction documents. Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-discipline project team.
