HVAC Controls Systems Engineer Leader

Our client, a leader in building automation and HVAC engineering solutions , is seeking a Controls Systems Engineering Manager to join their team. As a Controls Systems Engineering Manager, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Controls Engineers, Designers, and Project Teams . The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and excellent communication skills .

Job Title: Controls Systems Engineering Manager
Location: North Fargo, ND
Pay Range: $46.30/hour

Whats the Job?

• Lead and manage a team of Controls Systems Engineers and Designers
• Oversee engineering workload, project planning, and execution
• Provide advanced technical guidance and resolve complex engineering issues
• Manage project timelines, cost estimates, and resource allocation
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and HVAC teams to ensure successful delivery

Whats Needed (Must Have)

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (required)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in application engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry
• Proven experience supervising or managing technical or engineering teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Whats a Plus (Nice to Have)

• Masters degree or Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience in HVAC, building automation, or control systems
• Experience with large-scale projects such as data centers or pharmaceutical facilities
• Knowledge of cost management tools and reporting systems (PowerBI, EPIC, IIS)
