We're looking for a Civil Designer who's ready to do more than just draft-you'll play a key role in delivering impactful infrastructure projects across pipelines, utilities, land development, and renewable energy.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to turn concepts into clear, buildable designs that directly support field construction and long-term operations. What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop high-quality civil drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD Map
• Create alignment sheets, plats, permit drawings, hydrostatic test plans, and construction packages
• Translate survey data, engineering inputs, and GIS information into detailed, constructible designs
• Support pipeline routing and linear infrastructure projects from concept through execution
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and senior designers to solve real-time design challenges
• Incorporate topography, easements, and right-of-way data into accurate mapping deliverables
• Perform self-checks and QA/QC reviews to ensure top-tier quality and consistency
• Maintain organized drawing sets, documentation, and version control
• Contribute across a diverse portfolio including:
• Natural gas distribution
• Water pipelines
• Land development
• Renewable energy projects

What You Bring

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Map or mapping tools
• Understanding of civil survey data, topography, and how it drives design decisions
• Exposure to pipeline routing, linear infrastructure, or civil site design
• Strong attention to detail and ability to own your work from draft to final QA/QC
• Proficiency with Excel and data-driven design inputs

Experience Levels Welcome

• Entry-Level: 1+ year of Civil 3D experience
• Experienced Designers: Strong Civil 3D expertise + solid topo/survey knowledge (potential remote flexibility)

Nice to Have

• GIS experience (or familiarity with mapping systems)
• Background in pipeline, utilities, or land development projects
• Knowledge of right-of-way, easements, and alignment mapping
• Associate degree in a related field

This is a Permanent position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
