Position Summary: Firmware Engineering Manager

Location: Nashua, NH

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, highbandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks,Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable theelectronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM'sglobally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design,sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a FirmwareEngineering Manager for the High Speed Cables team located in Nashua, NH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee and mentor the Firmware engineering team, providing needed trainingand working with team members to grow within the organizationManage firmware project schedules, deliverables, and resource allocationacross multiple concurrent programsProvide technical mentorship, performance feedback, and career developmentsupport for engineering staffAid in product defect analysis, which may include updating our productiontools to collect additional information and mining factory log filesDevelop and enforce firmware architecture standards and coding bestpractices.Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, andmethodologiesCoordinate with peers and other engineering managers within the organizationto share best practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Firmware/Software Engineering, Computer Engineering orrelated discipline5+ years of experience in a technical leadership position within a relatedindustryDemonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects andmultidisciplinary teams.Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate withemployees at all levels of the organization
