We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Business Excellence Engineer, located in San Angelo, TX!

In this role, you will:

Drive manufacturing excellence initiatives by identifying and executing process improvements across production lines. You will partner with cross-functional teams to enhance quality, delivery, and cost performance while delivering measurable results through Lean methodologies. This role supports both the identification of improvement opportunities and execution of initiatives and operates with moderate autonomy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, efficiency improvements, and cost savings
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities through data analysis and value stream mapping
  • Execute manufacturing improvements to enhance labor efficiency, quality, and operational performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, safety, and finance
  • Support implementation of Johnson & Johnson Operating System (JJOS) and related production systems
  • Participate in Lean initiatives including Kaizen events and continuous improvement programs
  • Analyze performance metrics and define KPIs to drive operational improvements
  • Support financial analysis including cost improvement calculations and validation
  • Balance responsibilities across both identifying opportunities and executing improvement projects

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related Engineering discipline required

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement
  • Industrial Engineering background or experience in business excellence/continuous improvement
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification (minimum Green Belt required)
  • Experience supporting or leading process improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and drive decisions
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and performance metrics (efficiency, cost, quality)
  • Effective communication and presentation skills

Preferred:

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Experience with JJOS or similar operating/production systems
  • Exposure to financial processes, cost analysis, and business planning
  • Experience supporting Kaizen or continuous improvement programs
