Senior Project Manager MEP & Process Engineering
Location: Remote Preferably Greater Philadelphia area or East Coast based
Scientific Search client, a well Established privately owned, full service multi disciplined engineering and design firm, has an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager.
They dont just design systems, they design solutions that power the most advanced pharmaceutical and life science spaces in the country. Their sweet spot? Complex MEP and process piping design for specialty labs, cleanrooms, and aseptic manufacturing environments where precision isnt optionalits mission critical.
Theyre growing, and looking for a Senior Project Manager who knows how to run the
full arc of highly technical projectsfrom kickoff through commissioningwithout losing their cool or their calendar.
This role is fully remote (yay, no commuting!), East Coast based preferably in the Philly-area to support the occasional client visit or on-site walkthrough. No squirrel brains heretheyre looking for someone who thrives in a self-led environment and can keep both people and timelines moving forward.

What Youll Do:
- Lead MEP and process design projects from concept through closeoutacting as the
- quarterback between clients, engineering teams, and field partners.
- Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and client communications like a boss.
- Coordinate deliverables across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and
- specialty process systems (think clean steam, WFI, lab gases, etc.).
- Forecast resourcing needs and timelines without micromanagingbut with precision.
- Attend project meetings (virtually and sometimes in-person), speak client, and translate
- Engineering speak with grace.
- Keep the team focused, the clients confident, and the documentation tight.
Who You Are:
- A seasoned Project Manager with 10+ years of experience managing MEP and/or
- process engineering projectsbonus points for pharma, lab, and cGMP experience.
- Youve wrangled cross-disciplinary teams before and lived to tell the tale.
- You understand process piping systems, critical utilities, and the pressures of working in
- FDA-regulated environments.
- PE license? Awesome. Engineering degree? Even better. But if youve got experience and command of the space, theyre open.
- Tech-savvy enough to thrive in a fully remote environment. You know your way around Asana, MS Teams, PDFs, and dont panic when someone says, Share your screen.
- Youre organized, direct, and dont need to be babysat. You know how to run the project without losing the vibe.
