NESCO Resource is partnering with an international manufacturing company located in Melville, NY to hire a Logistics Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity. This full-time, in-office position offers a competitive salary of $70,000 to $75,000 annually, along with the opportunity for a discretionary bonus of up to 15%.

About the Role: The Logistics Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing domestic transportation and shipping activities. This role involves close communication with internal warehouse teams, external vendors, and freight carriers to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient shipment of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and manage domestic truck shipments to and from vendor locations

• Coordinate routing, scheduling, and tracking of shipments to ensure on-time delivery

• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and tracking records

• Confirm freight readiness with warehouse staff prior to dispatch

• Communicate with vendors and carriers to resolve any delivery issues or delays

Qualifications and Experience: The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with:

• Domestic and international shipping logistics

• Shipping platforms such as UPS WorldShip and FedEx

• Creating and managing commercial invoices and bills of lading

• Building and maintaining distribution lists

• Scheduling freight and coordinating directly with carriers

• Working within a manufacturing environment focused on shipping and logistics

Skills and Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Experience with ERP systems is highly preferred

• Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, in-office environment
