This Position reports to:

Local President, US Traction

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will support the execution of large and moderately complex projects. Your main tasks will include compliance with ABB policies, contractual agreements, and managing all aspects related to operations of the local manufacturing unit including the full scope of Production, Procurement, Quality & Operational Excellence and Logistics.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor's Degree (Engineering Preferred) with 8+ years' experience handling multiple projects concurrently.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Preferred Experience Includes:

• Management of large-scale rail or propulsion value chain projects in a manufacturing environment
• PMP or Lean Six Sigma Certifications
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, SAP, PowerBI).
