HIRING - Electrical Engineering Technician - $28/hour - $35/hour

Job Description:
This candidate will be supporting the build of prototype and complete products of electrical testing equipment for industrial power. You will participate in design reviews and modification, develop documentation and BOMs, understand client needs and build prototype and finished testing equipment.
- Develop deliverable documentation - as-built configuration including Bill of Material, user manuals, and test procedures
- Prototyping - setup and test prototype hardware
- Electrical/Mechanical Assembly fabricate cabling, electrical subassemblies, rack assemblies and install electronic equipment
- Perform test system integration validate system tests to design parameters, suggest hardware/software changes if needed
- This role will be mostly hands on in testing and building, with some office time modifying designs and creating documentation
- Create & maintain drawings Assist engineering with developing electrical, mechanical, and schematic drawings
Qualifications:
1. Associates degree in electrical engineering, Electrical engineering technology, or equivalent
2. Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings
3. Some experience with CAD either in design or navigating electrical and mechanical drawing libraries
4. Microsoft Office (word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint)
5. Hands on mechanical and electrical aptitude including soldering to build testing systems
6. Experience with electronic testing equipment including volt meters and scopes
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
