Sales Engineer Jobs in Omaha, NE

A Sales Engineer in the engineering industry is a pivotal role that combines technical knowledge with sales skills. They are responsible for promoting and selling complex scientific and technological products or services to businesses. A Sales Engineer is tasked with identifying potential customers, conducting presentations and product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and updating client databases. Prior to becoming a Sales Engineer, one might have roles such as a Technical Sales Representative, Application Engineer, or Design Engineer, which would help in gaining the necessary technical knowledge and sales experience.
